Frequently asked questions

Is DIR-3 KYC still annual?

Rules notified on 31 December 2025 and effective 31 March 2026 move it to once every three years, due by 30 June of the filing year. Changes to mobile, email or address must still be updated within 30 days.

Which form do I file, KYC or KYC-Web?

DIR-3 KYC (eform) is used for the first filing or when details change. DIR-3 KYC-Web is a quicker confirmation when details on record are unchanged.

My DIN is deactivated. Can it be fixed?

Yes. We file the KYC with the late fee and the DIN is reactivated once MCA processes it, usually within a few days.
