How it works

We assess gaps and agree the scope and standard

Documentation is prepared and an internal audit is run

The certification body audits and issues the certificate

Timeline

3 to 8 weeks depending on readiness. Government processing times are outside our control; we track and follow up on every application.

If you skip it

Penalty exposure: ISO certification is voluntary, so there is no statutory penalty. A certificate from an unaccredited body may be rejected by customers and tender authorities, so we work only with bodies accredited by NABCB or another IAF member.

Frequently asked questions

Is ISO certification issued by the government?

No. ISO writes the standards but does not certify. Certificates are issued by independent certification bodies, and accreditation by NABCB or another IAF member is what gives them credibility.

How long is the certificate valid?

Three years, subject to passing annual surveillance audits.

Which standard do I need?

ISO 9001 covers quality management and suits most businesses. ISO 27001 covers information security, ISO 14001 environment and ISO 45001 workplace safety.
