Frequently asked questions

Who must be on the Internal Committee?

A senior woman employee as presiding officer, at least two employees committed to the cause, and one external member from an NGO or with relevant legal knowledge. At least half the members must be women.

When is the annual report due?

The committee prepares an annual report for each calendar year, and the employer forwards it to the District Officer. Many states expect it by 31 January; we check your district’s requirement.

Is SHe-Box registration compulsory?

Several states and districts now require employers to register committee details on SHe-Box. We register you where it applies and keep the details updated.
