Frequently asked questions
What is the government fee for STK-2?
The normal MCA fee is Rs 10,000. MCA sometimes runs schemes that reduce it for a limited period; we check what applies when we file.
Can I close a company that has pending filings?
Pending annual returns and accounts usually need to be filed first, up to the end of the financial year in which business stopped.
Is there an option to pause instead of closing?
Yes. A company with no significant transactions can apply for dormant status under Section 455 by filing MSC-1, and then files a short annual return (MSC-3). It can be revived later.
