Frequently asked questions

Is there a government fee?

No. Udyam registration is free on the government portal. Our fee covers classification, filing and support.

Does Udyam need renewal?

No. It is a lifetime registration. Investment and turnover are picked up from income tax and GST data, and classification can change as the business grows.

How does it help with delayed payments?

Buyers must pay registered micro and small enterprises within the agreed period, capped at 45 days. Late payment attracts compound interest at three times the RBI bank rate, and buyers can lose the tax deduction for unpaid dues.
