GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, reconciled and filed

The annual return is where a year of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and books meet. We reconcile all three, fix gaps before they become notices, and file GSTR-9 and the GSTR-9C reconciliation statement where it applies.

Frequently asked questions

Our turnover is below Rs 2 crore. Should we still file GSTR-9?

It is optional below Rs 2 crore. Filing can still help if your monthly returns had errors, since it closes the year on record.

Can we correct mistakes from GSTR-3B in GSTR-9?

You can report additional liability and pay it, but you cannot claim extra input credit or reduce tax already paid through GSTR-9.

Who signs GSTR-9C?

GSTR-9C is now self-certified by the taxpayer. We prepare the reconciliation and a Chartered Accountant reviews it before you file.
